What do I get with my ticket?
An awesome time with some kick-ass people! Well… that and you get a souvenir GPBF snifter glass plus 6 drink tickets. Each drink ticket corresponds to one 6oz pour.

Can I get more than 6 drink tickets?
Yep, you sure can. Additional drink tickets will be sold at the festival for $2 each. We will have ticket outlets scattered around the festival.

I heard you had a two day pass?
These are not for the faint of gourds… are you ready for two days of Pumpkin-madness? We have a limited quantity available and you can only purchase them pre-sale online – http://bit.ly/2gXWubn. First come, first serve: $50 two day Pass.

What about DDs? I have an awesome friend!
RAD! We need more friends like yours! There will be a limited amount of $5 designated driver tickets available online only! If you enter as a designated driver, you may not drink at the festival. Please don’t make us kick you out.

What’s this whole ORANGE THEME thing?
The theme is ORANGE and what that means is totally up to you. Word to the wise, the orangery, the better! We encourage you to embrace that color for your fest attire. If you’re one to bust out in full costume – you may be rewarded! Ask your inner pumpkin, if you need some inspiration… or, email us. That’s cool, too. We’ll try and help.

There’s a Costume Contest? How do I win?
First, you have to be there! After that, it’s a swirly mix of you showing up in a costume so amazing that you get plucked from the crowd to compete on stage with a handful of other pumpkin contestants. If you’ve made it to the stage THEN you must win the favor of an insane panel of Elysian judges, who are predictably unpredictable.

What Elysian Beers will be on tap?

With the harvest dying on the vine and bounty in short supply, Blight will sustain you with an ale
of pumpkin, dark brown sugar and a jolt of Vietnamese cinnamon. 7.4% ABV

Crust Punk Pumpkin Kvass
Crust Punk is a modern take on a Russian Kvass beer. Our version is brewed with Grand Central sourdough rye bread, malted rye, pumpkin and roasted pumpkin seeds. Fermented with house yeast in conjunction with a sourdough starter. 4.8% ABV

Cursed Hearse
The procession never made it to the funeral. Somewhere along the way the body disappeared and the hearse took a surprising turn. The driver rolled through Georgetown, filling the casket with pale, flaked oats and malted white wheat. Next, he stopped by Ciudad to add some weight – 160 lbs of hand roasted Kabocha pumpkins. He sped back to Elysian to bitter with German Northern Brewer and Saaz hops, and finished with a touch of Belgian Candi Sugar to cover his tracks. It was all laid to rest, but soon after came back to life a delicious pumpkin saison. We hope you enjoy this curse, just don’t take it with you… 6% ABV

Dark Knife
This season we took a stab at our rst pumpkin schwarzbier – brewed with pale, munich, roasted barley, and a smattering of dark malts. German Northern Brewer and Saaz hops give it a little edge, while 90 lbs of pumpkin entrails, cinnamon and ginger smooth over the crime scene. 4.2% ABV

Dark o’ the Moon Pumpkin Stout
A perennial favorite and 2010 Silver medalist in the GABF® Field Beer category, Dark o’ the Moon Pumpkin Stout is brewed with Great Western pale, Crisp 77° Crystal, Munich, Cara-Vienne, Roasted Barley, Chocolate and Special B malts with roasted pumpkin seeds in the mash. Pumpkin in the mash, kettle and fermenter. Bittered with Magnum and finished with Saaz and crushed cinnamon. 7.6% ABV

Fourth Son Dark Pumpkin Lager
A Munich-style lager inspired by a North Plains ghost story. Additions of smoked pumpkin, rye malt and Patagonia brown malt, revive the night in the woods where the victim had their last dance by gun re. May Western justice be served to the guilty. Thanks to Jack’s BBQ in Georgetown for smoking the pumpkin. 5% ABV and 100% spooky.

Goblin Party Pumpkin Milkshake IPA
Goblin Party is a pumpkin milkshake IPA with vanilla, lactose, a touch of pumpkin spice, and a big dose of graham cracker crumbs sprinkled in the mash and whirlpool by goblins. Hopped primarily with Citra, and dry hopped with Citra and Galaxy. Ain’t no party like a goblin party. 6.5% ABV

Gourdfather ‘15, ‘16, ‘17
The Gourdfather is a pumpkin barley wine you can’t refuse, mellowing with age but still reminding you who’s boss. A veritable pushcart of a malt
bill brings pale, Munich, Cara-hell, Cara-vienne, C-15 crystal and pumpkin seeds up against a rival neighborhood armed with Magnum hops. At 23.4 Plato starting gravity and 11.2% ABV it’ll keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Hi-P Hibiscus Pumpkin blend with Night Owl
Night Owl took a tropical vacation this year and made a friend along the way. Bringing Limp Bizkus, our Hibiscus Kettle Sour, to the party; Hi-P is
a whole lot of fun that you won’t want to miss out on. 5.6% ABV

Muffin n Top Mountain Blueberry Pumpkin Ale
Top of the muffin n to you! Muffin n Top Mountain was brewed with 90 lbs of pumpkin puree and 100
lbs of blueberries from Sakuma Farm. We added magnum hops for a slight bitterness and mosaic to enhance the blueberry aroma. Here at Elysian, we brew with the nest of ingredients, not with chicken skins and lobster shells. So enjoy a Muffin n Top Mountain and throw away the stumps. 7.5% ABV

Night Owl Pumpkin Ale
Our original pumpkin ale, brewed with pumpkin, roasted and raw pumpkin seeds, and spiced in conditioning with nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger, and allspice. 6.7% ABV

One Eye Jackie Pumpkin Wheatwine

Depth of eld may suffer after consuming this massive pumpkin wheatwine. An extended boil time and light spicing of cinnamon and ginger result in a rich, deep, and malty brew. Serving recommendation: drink with hand over one eye. 12% ABV

PK-47 Pumpkin Malt Liquor
When you absolutely, positively have to carve every pumpkin in the room – a seasonal version
of our regular (and occasional) malt liquor, AK-47. Brewed with pale malt with dextrose and pumpkin added to the mash and boil. Hopped with German Northern Brewer. 6.85% ABV

Imperial pumpkin ale with popular flavor accompaniments designed for a wide audience. #upforwhatever 8% ABV

Punkuccino Coffee Pumpkin Ale
A pumpkin ale with the attitude of a world-weary barista, Punkuccino packs a short shot of Stumptown coffee toddy in your pint with just a shake of cinnamon and nutmeg. Pale, brown, biscuit, C-77 crystal, chocolate and kiln-coffee malts provide the body, German Northern Brewer lends a touch of bitterness, and lactose sweetens just a touch. Three pumpkin additions, in the mash, kettle and fermenter. 6% ABV

The Great Pumpkin Imperial Pumpkin Ale
The Great Pumpkin was the silver medalist at the 2007 Great American Beer Festival in the Fruit and Vegetable category and was also the world’s rst Imperial pumpkin ale. Brewed with Pale, Munich, Cara-Hell, Cara-Vienne, Cara-Munich and Crisp 45° L Crystal malts. Roasted pumpkin seeds in the mash, and extra pumpkin added in the mash, kettle and fermenter. Spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice. 8.1% ABV

Torta Porta Pumpkin Porter
Pumpkin porter brewed with a small portion of smoked malt, sea salt, black pepper, coriander, cumin, lime zest and juice, roasted and fresh jalapenos, cilantro, and most importantly torta rolls! 6.3% ABV

Our Pumpkin Porter is a dark, rich porter combined with all the things that make a great pumpkin pie: nutmeg, allspice, some ground clove and a little ginger. It’s our most popular specialty beer and has been for over a decade. 5.1% ABV

I’m traveling in from out of town, where should I stay and what should I do while I’m here?
Welcome to Seattle! There are a handful of hotels downtown near the Seattle Center. And, while you’re in town, come visit us at one of our Elysian locations to sample even more great beers.

I’m a very important person, is there a VIP ticket for me?
We believe you. Really, we do. But, no. We don’t sell VIP tickets.

Will there be food?
What kind of party doesn’t have food? Yes! There will be food trucks slinging delicious grub throughout the entirety of the festival.

Can I bring snacks from home? I make this amazing [fill in the blank] and…
Welp, like we learned in elementary school, if you don’t have one for everyone, then you can’t bring it… seriously though, no outside food or drink. Our security staff can only eat so many brown bag lunches and we don’t want your food to go to waste.

Will there be anything other than Pumpkin Beer at the GPBF?
Every year we get this question, and every year we tell you no. BUT, rumor has it that this year you may find a few special harvest treats scattered among the taps.

What about Gluten Free options?
YES we will have gluten-free options. We usually have a couple pumpkin ciders and gluten-free pumpkin beers. We try to be as inclusive as possible and make sure everyone can enjoy themselves.

I heard you were partnering with Fred Hutch, is that true?
Yes! We are so excited to partner with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center for GPBF this year. Elysian and Fred Hutch began a partnership five years ago through Obliteride, an annual bike race where every rider-raised dollar goes toward lifesaving cancer research at Fred Hutch. Building on the relationship, we continued to raise funds for Fred Hutch’s Base2Space, which allows people an opportunity to climb up the Space Needle and raise funds for cancer research. And, earlier this year, we joined Fred Hutch again for Slayride Banked Slalom, a race on the slopes of Stevens Pass to generate even more dollars for the organization. When we decided, for the first time in the 13 years of GPBF, to look for a partner to join us in this event, we looked no further than Fred Hutch. We are incredibly proud to say that 100% of the proceeds of the Great Pumpkin Beer Festival will be provided to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in our joint and continued quest to search for the cure.

What is the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off?
The Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off is an official, sanctioned event by The Great Pumpkin Commonwealth (GPC), http://greatpumpkincommonwealth.com/, and will include growers and their giant pumpkins from around the region. It is an all ages event where growers compete to see who has the biggest pumpkin! It’s really f*ckin’ cool and you should come.

When is the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off?
The GPWO is happening the weekend prior to GPBF, on Saturday, September 23 from 11am-3pm, at 5510 Airport Way S at the Elysian Airport Way Brewery in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood.
